At Leuben Foundation, we recognize that health is the foundation of sustainable development. Our health initiatives aim to improve the overall well-being of communities through awareness, prevention, care, and empowerment—especially for vulnerable and affected individuals.
We address cross-cutting health issues, with a particular focus on HIV/AIDS education, hygiene and sanitation awareness, and mental and emotional support for affected families.
We conduct community-based sensitization to:
Educate people on HIV/AIDS transmission, prevention, and treatment
Promote voluntary testing and counseling (VTC)
Encourage open conversations to reduce stigma and discrimination
To prevent outbreaks of diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid, we run:
Public health education workshops
Community trainings on proper hygiene and sanitation practices
School hygiene outreach programs
For individuals infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, we offer:
Confidential counseling services
Guidance for positive living
Support groups to combat stigma and foster healing
To restore self-worth and economic independence, we empower affected individuals with:
Skills training and vocational support
Start-up opportunities for small businesses
Ongoing mentorship to support financial resilience and dignity
We envision communities free from preventable diseases, where every person—regardless of health status—can live with dignity, purpose, and hope. Our programs are designed to bring healing, knowledge, and empowerment where it’s most needed.
“A healthy community is a thriving community. Awareness is the first step to transformation.”
