Championing Fair Land Use and Justice for All<\/h3>

At Leuben Empowerment and Development Foundation International, we recognize that land represents far more than a physical asset\u2014it is a source of livelihood, cultural identity, and long-term security. Unfortunately, many communities, particularly vulnerable groups such as women, orphans, and the elderly, continue to face exploitation, displacement, and systemic injustice in matters of land ownership and usage.<\/p>

Through our Land Advocacy Program, we are committed to educating, empowering, and protecting communities by ensuring that land rights are respected and enforced at every level. Our work is anchored in three core pillars: raising public awareness, strengthening community advocacy, and promoting sustainable land use practices.<\/p>

  • Encourage responsible land stewardship and sustainable practices that safeguard resources for future generations.<\/li>
  • Expose the methods used in land grabbing and boundary disputes, enabling communities to identify and resist such threats effectively.<\/li><\/ul>

    We strengthen the capacity of local leadership by:<\/p>

    • Providing cultural, religious, and political leaders with the legal knowledge and practical tools needed to defend their communities against land grabbing.<\/li>
    • Training leaders to recognize early indicators of land conflict and to intervene proactively, preventing disputes from escalating into displacement or violence.<\/li>
    • Establishing a network of community advocates who can assist vulnerable groups\u2014particularly women, children, and the elderly\u2014in documenting and asserting their land claims.<\/li><\/ul>
